The EFIKA 5200B is a performance evaluation board based around the MPC5200B PowerPC® System-on-Chip from Freescale Semiconductor.

Specifications are as follows:

• Freescale MPC5200B PowerPC SoC up to 400MHz
• 118mm x 153mm x 38mm
• 128MB 266MHz DDR RAM
• 44-pin IDE connector
• 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet
• 2x USB ports
• 1x RS232 Serial port
• Stereo Audio out, Microphone and Line-input
• 33/66MHz PCI with bundled 90° AGP riser slot
• RoHS Compliant

EFIKA provides small form factor design and high performance and integration, for multiple embedded, thin client, industrial applications, from a single board.

Example product solutions include:

• Thin-Client for X or Windows Terminal Server (rdesktop) displays
• Home Theater satellite, to relay recorded or downloaded TV shows and movies around the home
• High power-use/performance-ratio cluster node
• Industrial control and robotics
• VOIP/Video Phone connected to a TV
• Webcam Security solution
